Peracetic acid

Peressigsäure PES ist das einzige Mikrobizid ohne Wirkungslücken oder Bereiche abgeschwächter Wirksamkeit. Peressigsäure wirkt unspezifisch und lässt keine Resistenzentwicklungen zu. Peressigsäure besitzt die höchste Wirkungsgeschwindigkeit aller bekannten Mikrobizide und ist umweltfreundlich. Sie zerfällt in Sauerstoff und in geringe Mengen normaler Essigsäure. Es gibt keine langlebigen toxischen Rückstände.
Die Desinfektionsleistung von Peressigsäure ist nahezu temperaturunabhängig.
